Oh summer, we have missed you! Welcome back!!

KUNG FU PANDA 2!!
We started off the offical first weekend of summer with a trip to the movies. During tortential downpours and flash flooding in Raleigh (note wet 3 yr old), we were able to make it there just in time. Reese stayed at school to play with her friends while Mama and Dada spent some quality time with Jack.


Luckily Jack shared about an 1/8 of HIS bucket with Mama and Dada.



Kung Fu Panda was a hit! Can't wait for Kung Fu Panda 3!! :-)

Poor Reese does her best to keep up with her big brother but sometimes she can't go any further.



TIME WITH DADA!

Oh how Jack loves to play on the deck. With the rain we have had over the past month, this was the first time Jack was able to go outside without everything being soaked. Unfortunately, it got hot very quickly yesterday but Jack (and Dada) were able to get some quality playdough time in.

Jack has decided that Reese's toys are much more fun than his. And so the toy fights begin...


Although we had a snot filled weekend in the Matthews house, everyone still seemed to be in a good mood!

So as many of you know, Jack is an expert as showing us his "Mean Face". Well now we all get to enjoy "Sad Lip". We get to see this at least 4-5 times a day and is usually preceding us telling Jack something he doesn't want to hear or can't have.

Lovin' some Chick Fil' A!

Jack and Reese's daycare had "Chick Fil' A Night" last night at a local restaurant and a portion of the sales go directly to their daycare. There were TONS of other kids there and Jack even saw a few friends from his class!

Mama was a little worried about taking on this adventure with two kids and no Dada since he is traveling this week but it worked out fine and everyone had a good time. Luckily Reese slept most of the time so sorry, no pictures of her this time!

Spring is finally here!!

Our Rainy Weekend!

It was mostly just Patsy and the kids this past rainy weekend. Brad had a wedding and tradeshow and with the rain, the rest of us were stuck inside. Luckily, the kids were in pretty good moods but are definitely ready for spring so we can go outside and play!

No excuses from us! Still trying to learn how to function with two kids and updating the blog has fallen to the BOTTOM of the priority list. We have every intention of getting some more photos/updates posted soon but no promises!
