Well, we're just a few weeks away from our "2nd" biggest day! The "1st" being the day that we got married! Here we are almost one year later and Baby Matthews is on his way. We're 33 weeks into the pregnancy and we're both anxious about our new Lil' Rocker. We're already planning his first concert, maybe Jack Johnson in August! They actually make baby headphones to cut down on the noise. This way he doesn't end up like Steven Tyler who can't hear anything!
Things are going great. The room is painted, furniture is assembled, and the baby shower(s) are happening this weekend. Doctor's visits are really positive and the baby is like a tiny break-dancer. We're not sure about everyone else's pregnancies, Dave & Leslie, Tom & Shalon, Scott & Melanie, Emily & Jeff, Brandon & Shannon, etc. but this little guy has quite the moves. Unlike his father, he's sure to be an athlete of great strength.
We're staying busy and trying to get everything in order before our lives get "flipped upside down!" (really bad Will Smith/Fresh Prince reference). It seems every weekend is spent on the road visiting friends, buying things for the house, or in search of baby apparel for us and everyone else who's about to pop out a kid! We're getting our weekly workouts by brushing up on our Rock Band skills on the PS3. Patsy missed her calling as a professional drummer for sure. You have to see her in action the next time your over.
