We just want to start off by thanking everyone for the wonderful gifts we received this past weekend. Patsy had a shower on Saturday for "just the girls" and Brad had his work shower on Sunday. So if anyone knows Brad even a little, you know how much Brad loves gifts! Now he is so excited about getting baby stuff that you would think those gifts are actually for him. No baby items go unassembled for more than a day in this house, regardless of when Baby Matthews is going to use them (ie high chair). So with that said, you should not be surprised to hear that we spent Sunday night going through all the gifts and opening whatever needed to be assembled. Patsy fell asleep for about an hour to wake up and find the high chair and two bouncy seats assembled and ready for Baby Matthews. If we had all the batteries we needed for everything, those would have been in the toys too. FYI - The stroller and pack n' play were assembled the day we got those (and that was back in early February)!
Patsy is doing well and everything is moving along as planned. We are quickly realizing that the baby could arrive at any time now and the pressure is on to make sure we have everything we need and are ready to go at any time. But all of this has been pretty exciting and we think (hope) we are ready and can't wait to meet our 2nd son. Can't forget Lil' Snoop!
